Success from the Farmstead Feast

On September 15th, +BOX hosted the inaugural +BOX Farmstead Feast! The night was a resounding success as current and new +BOX community members, staff, board members, and supporters had the opportunity to engage, learn about and celebrate our progress, impact and vision for the future. We heard moving stories from our friends and partners, Erin from Bella Mente Montessori Academy and Lisa from the Oceanside Public Library, who both shared stories about the impact +BOX has had on their respective communities.

We are so thankful to all of our donors for their generosity to +BOX and the students, families, and San Diegans we support on a weekly basis with regular, consistent access to fresh, healthy produce. The immediate impact of providing healthy food support is clear, but +BOX is driving life-long change through better academic outcomes and improved health and wellness. Thanks to our program volunteers, donors, and sponsors for this event, +BOX is able to provide the consistent and regular access to fresh food that these families deserve.
