San Diego Gleans (with ProduceGood)
+BOX is teaming up with ProduceGood for San Diego Gleans, a community gleaning day at a private orchard in Rancho Santa Fe. Volunteers will be gleaning the orange groves on the property for +BOX to use in our distributions the following week!

About the event
+BOX was invited by our partners, ProduceGood, to share a special event that will highlight our relationship and raise awareness of our shared mission of reducing hunger in our community, kicking off the week before San Diego Gives Day on September 8th.
On Friday, September 2nd, we will participate in SAN DIEGO GLEANS! This is a community gleaning day at a private orchard in Rancho Santa Fe from 9am – 11:30am. Volunteers will be gleaning the orange groves on the property and offering a part of this nutritious bounty to +BOX. Oranges gleaned by +BOX volunteers will benefit food insecure students and families supported by +BOX.
It takes a community to Feed the Need and your participation helps connect the source to the need, benefitting the 1 in 3 San Diegans struggling with food insecurity.
